Launched less than a year ago, The Lind Hotel is already one of Boracay’s most praised hotels. This 5 star luxury resort finally gives the Shangri-La a real competitor for the title of best hotel on the island. This impressive hotel is designed to serve every one of your needs and cravings, while making sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised even if you come with the highest expectations.
The Lind is located at the northernmost part of White Beach (station 1) and so it enjoys the very best section of the most beautiful beach in the world. This is a distinct advantage over its main competitor, the Shangri-La. This resort is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to have an all inclusive 5 star vacation in Boracay. On top of that, The Lind hotel is our number 1 pick for couples, especially honeymooners, who are hoping for a real once in a lifetime experience.
The Lind is one of the biggest hotels in Boracay, both in terms of land size and number of rooms. Still, they manage to provide a world class personal service to each of their guests. The staff is warm and friendly, and numerous custom services are available, many of which are free of charge.
This is a brand new hotel and it's very well designed. The whole place is literally shining, which adds a lot to the feeling of luxury and class. The rooms and all public areas are large and modern, and everything is new and working perfectly.
Even the most basic rooms are very spacious – double in size than the average room you get in Boracay. They are all fully furnished and well designed. Additional room services such as a free mini bar and a daily turn down service enhance the experience and turn it into a dream come true. More expensive room categories also come with additional amenities such as a Nespresso machine and a private pool – making them some of the best rooms we've seen anywhere in Boracay.
The main pool is large and very clean, its actually the biggest pool we've seen anywhere in Boracay. There's also a huge infinity pool at the hotel's roof – with a bar next to it, and a stunning view of the ocean. The beach is right outside the hotel, and is the most beautiful part of the famous White Beach strip. The private beach area is well organized, and butlers are always there to help with anything you might need.
The Lind is located right on White Beach, but at the farthest end of it, which means you are roughly 20 minutes walk from all the action at station 2. The hotel is very easy to reach, and there's a free shuttle to D'mall leaving every hour. Being a bit off the center means you get to much more privacy and the beach is less crowded.
There's no doubt this hotel isn't cheap, but it definitely meets up to the high expectations and provides a once in a lifetime experience to its guests. It's cheaper and better located than the Shangri-La, so for us this means this is a great deal for everyone who's looking for an all inclusive vacation at the highest standards imaginable.
There are only 119 rooms at the Lind, but the complex is huge since everything they do is so grandiose. We have to admit we got lost a few times trying to find our way, especially since the reception isn’t at the ground floor. Luckily, there are staff members everywhere and they are all very helpful, so someone also showed us the right way to the beach. The good thing about the hotel being so large is that even though it was fully booked, it never felt crowded at all.
All rooms are equipped with a mini fridge, which is filled once during your visit and offered for free. The WiFi signal is fantastic all across the hotel, which is something extremely rare in Boracay. Rooms are all very spacious and modernly designed, and each of them also has a private balcony overlooking the ocean. Standards amenities such as AC, safety box, a large LED TV and high end toiletries are also provided of course.
This is a new hotel, which means there's always some hype and reviews can be a little overexcited. Still, this also means now is the perfect time to visit the hotel, when everything is brand new and they are so eager to impress their clients. We can say from our own personal experience, the Lind is without a doubt one of the best hotels in the Philippines. We actually had a very hard time finding any negative feedback about this hotel. All reviews found online are praising this hotel, with many guests saying they will be back as soon as they can. We had to go through all reviews posted on major booking sites, to try and get some idea of what can potentially go wrong while staying there. We honestly feel like if you choose to book a room at the Lind, the chances you'll be disappointed are extremely slim. Tripadvisor.com has 725 reviews with an average rating of 4.5. The Lind is 2nd best ranked hotel in Boracay and with an amazing record – 84% of guests gave it the highest score possible. The top ranked hotel in Boracay is the Coast resort, in case you were wondering. Tripadvisor users really liked the level of service they received, the amazing infinity pool and the excellent location. There are also 437 reviews on booking.com, and 274 at agoda.com. The average scores are 9.3 and 9 respectively. Here, we found a lot of praising reviews for the food, especially the breakfast buffet. The rooms were also very well liked, and of course people also mentioned the fantastic pools and beach area. Complaints were scarce, but they mostly revolved around the strict cancellation policy and the long waiting time for check in/out.
The Lind is one of the best hotels in Boracay, here's why:
Issues with this hotel are minor, but still worth mentioning:
There are also 4 restaurants on site, each specializing in a slightly different cuisine. They are all highly praised for they food and service. Breakfast is served in buffet style, from 6:30 to 10am at the Tartine restaurant. The restaurant then stays open until 10pm, serving an a la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Since the place is a popular dinner spot for dinner walk in guests, it’s better to reserve a seat.
The second restaurant is called Crust, and is located by the beach area. Open from 11am to 11pm, it specializes in pizzas made in a wood fire oven. The infinity bar at the rooftop and +36 bar at the lobby both serve drinks and snacks. They are a great place to sit back and relax, while watching the beautiful view.
The Lind Boracay also organizes its own transfer service from Caticlan airport. You will be picked up straight from the airport, then driven in a private van to the pier. From there, you’ll use the hotel’s private speedboat to reach Boracay, where another van will take you to the hotel. The whole trip takes roughly 30 minutes, and it’s much more convenient than taking the regular boat with everyone else.
Free services doesn’t stop there, and you’ll get a free mini bar set up in every room you take. A turn down service means housekeeping will visit your room again before night time, to replace towels again and replenish all used toiletries. They’ll prepare the bed for sleep, and also leave a nice small gift for you – either a cookie, a chocolate or a cake. A shuttle service to D’Mall is also available on an hourly basis from 6am until midnight – so you can always go to shop or party in the central part of White Beach if you like.
To sum it up, The Lind is easily one of the best hotels in the Philippines. Amazing beach location, worlds class service and luxurious rooms are what you can expect there. Better yet, this place is a sure bet and never fails to deliver despite the high expectations. This hotel is the best choice for couples or small groups who wish to enjoy a real 5 star experience at the most beautiful beach in the world.
This is the most basic room type and also the cheapest. Still, with 45m2 it can comfortably accommodate 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 kids. The room comes with 2 queen size beds. If you prefer to have it with a king size bed instead, please let us know in advance.
Both rooms are designed similarly, with the exception of the Beach Room also having a Nespresso machine. It’s also closer to the beach, and has a better view. That is why it costs 30$ extra per night. We think it’s worth it, but it’s up to you to decide and let us know. Both rooms are 53m2 and come with 1 king size bed and a sofa bed.
This is a garden room, only it’s 58m2 and has a private dipping pool in the balcony. The room comes with 1 king size bed and a sofa bed, and can fit in 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. It also has a Nespresso coffee maker in it.
These range from 77 to 90 square meters and are good for either 2 adults and 2 kids or 3 adults. They both cost roughly the same (Sea view room is 30$ more per night). So you can ask for either one and we’ll do our best to secure it, depending on availability of course. These rooms come with 1 king size bed and one sofa bed.
