Henann Prime Beach Resort is a 4 star resort located in the upscale area of Boracay Island’s Station 1. Established in 2016, it is one of the newest additions to the Henann chain of resorts and is the only property they have outside of station 2. Henann Prime Beach was hailed as the winner of World Luxury Hotel Awards in 2017.
Prime Beach is the smallest resort under the flagship of Henann with only 154 rooms. The rooms are divided into two separate areas: the east wing (which is located at the main road side) and the beach wing (which is in front of the east wing on the beach side). The two areas are connected by a bridge located on the second floor to give guests better and easier access without having to cross the road. This resort is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to stay at the best part of White Beach, without spending a small fortune.
The staffs are very attentive to small details and very quick to respond to special requests. They are very accommodating and always happy to serve which is a true evidence of Filipino hospitality. However, as mentioned they sometimes overlook the small details which can really make a guest's stay memorable and special.
The resort is meticulously kept clean on a daily basis. The pools have regular cleaning schedules and the rooms are cleaned twice on a daily basis. With the whole place being brand new, we couldn't spot any flaw and everything was literally perfect.
The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. There are rooms with direct pool access and they are highly recommended. Don’t forget to bring mosquito repellents though because there could be many, especially on the lower floor.
The beach of Boracay is superb. Nothing beats the beautiful white sands, turquoise blue waters and the amazing sunsets. This resort is located at the absolute best section of the famous White Beach. The swimming pools at Henann Prime Beach are narrow and small, unlike the sister resorts located in Station 2 with massive pools.
Station 1 is generally the best location on the island in terms of tranquility, beach quality and privacy. Most of the high-end resorts are here. Downside is you'll have to walk roughly 15 minutes to reach D'Mall, where most shops, bars and restaurants are.
The price per night is reasonably cheap considering that it is on Station 1. The food in the restaurant is great, the rooms are comfortable and the whole resort is overall in great shape.
All rooms have standard amenities like: safety deposit box, phones in bedroom and bathroom, hairdryer, signature toiletries, bidet, personal refrigerator, AC and TV with international channels. There are rooms that have direct pool access which is a trademark of Henann Group and is always an important feature among all Henann Resorts.
Shuttle service is also one of the perks of being a Henann resort guest. For a reasonable price, you can enjoy a VIP treatment from the airport to the resort. At the Port in Caticlan, a fancy speedboat will take you to the rear of the island. From there, a private car will bring you to the resort’s entrance. There is however one thing that reception staff can do better. Providing a guest with welcome drinks and cold face towels is extremely appreciated anywhere and they tend to forget that at times.
It is also important to note that because of the location, Henann Prime Beach is quite far from where the action is. For people who prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle, Station 1 is perfect but for party goers, they will have to walk to Station 2, or take the hourly shuttle to D’Mall, because most of the bars and restaurants are there.
Considering that the resort is fairly new, reviews online are still not significantly great in number. However, it is consistently ranked as one of the best resorts in Boracay. Guests love the location because it is right on the beach. However, due to the resort’s floor layout some guests felt that they were misinformed or misguided when they get a room with no view as they generally thought that the resort is horizontally expanded along the beach. The swimming pools are quite small and narrow but with a beautiful beach, it is inherent that most guests would prefer to stay there than in the pool. When compared with other Henann resorts however, the pools at Prime Beach are not that great. Some guests also complained about poor sound proofing quality in the rooms. It is not advisable for people who sleep lightly because they can easily awaken with the noise. Breakfast is great and options are wide and plentiful. The resort also ensures that the menus are different every day. The Sea Salt restaurant is superb however; the space is rather small for the number of guests. The beach space is also a bit small and there are not enough lounge chairs for all guests.

For a 5-star resort, its amenities are somewhat limited. There is no gym and fitness center and no business center either. There is only one restaurant for all the guests and it can be crowded when the resort is full. Overall though, Henann Prime Beach is an excellent resort where you get more for your money. If you love to stay in Station 1 without splurging too much, then Henann Prime Beach is perfect.
Premier rooms are located at both wings of the resort, with those at the beach wing costing slightly more. They are all 36m2 and there’s no difference in terms of amenities and style. Premier rooms all come with 1 queen sized bed and 1 single bed, so they can easily accommodate 3 persons.
These rooms are located at both the East and Beach wings. At 40m2, they are slightly larger and more luxrious than the Premier rooms. The east wing deluxe room comes with 1 queen size and 1 single bed, while the beach deluxe room has 1 king size bed instead.
This is the best room type the resort offers, and it’s located only on the beach wing. The room is 56m2 and comes with 1 king size bed. An extra bed can be added for an additional daily charge.
