Secluded on top of a limestone cliff with panoramic views of the turquoise sea, Amorita is a 4-star boutique resort that offers world class hospitality and top notch amenities. It is perfect for honeymooners and couples who want to enjoy privacy while still being in the center of everything.
The overall minimalist design of the resort gives a warm and soothing vibe. The wooden accents blend perfectly with the dark neutral colours; the symmetry and simplicity of the interiors are elegantly classic and the general ambiance is just that of quiet luxury.
Amorita Resort offers 82 suites and 16 villas all of which are spacious and modern. Compared to South Palms, Amorita is more centrally located. Its private beach is situated on a more quiet side of Alona which makes it a better choice for couples than its big neighbor, Hennan Resort.
The staff at Amorita are well-trained, highly enthusiastic and extremely friendly and helpful. They are always willing to go the extra mile for their valued customers.
The gardens are lush and immaculate. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and the public areas are also regularly maintained. Sometimes though, the staff are unable to clear breakfast tables but mistakes like that can happen at such a large property. The design is very minimalist, clean and symmetrical. It is definitely pleasing to the eye.
The rooms are very large with high ceilings and neutral tones. They are all equipped with modern and luxurious amenities like flat screen TV and sound amplifiers, AC, mini bar and complete tea and coffee making facility. Toiletries are replenished and beds are extremely comfortable. Door knobs or locks are quite difficult to close though.
The beach is only a short walk and it is clean and pristine. There is direct access via the stairs because the resort is on top of a cliff but some guests may not like that. The 2 infinity pools are extremely refreshing, clean and well-designed. They could improve on night lighting though and non-slip platforms for better safety.
Probably one of the best highlights of Amorita is its excellent location. It is a short drive to the newly opened airport, and a walking distance to all shops, markets, restaurants and bars in the area.
Amorita is a mid-range luxury resort and so it can be more expensive than other resorts in Panglao in terms of room categories and views. However, you do get more for your money in terms of amenities like free yoga sessions, free bike and non-motorized water equipment rentals, daily kid activity sessions and fitness programs.
The resort’s amenities include: 2 infinity outdoor pools, fitness center, in-house PADI-certified dive shop, wellness spa, 3 dining outlets inclusive of a bar, conference rooms and 24-hour concierge and security. There are also numerous packages on offer like the wanderlust package which includes 2 night accommodation, countryside tour, airport transfers, breakfast and complimentary tapas platter with Sangria. For honeymooners, they can avail of their timeless package inclusive of 2-night stay with one hour spa treatment, private dinner with 5-course menu on the cliff deck, personal waiter and a bottle of wine

Guests are delighted with the overall ambiance of the resort. The modern amenities, especially the infinity pools, the rooms and the dining outlets definitely received a thumbs-up. The service is also frequently complimented along with the gorgeous location. Most complaints are minor and don’t really affect the overall experience of the guests like the difficulty of locking doors, rooms are a bit dim, smell in one of the toilets, lack of elevator, limited food choices, limited lounge chairs by the pool and taking the stairs to the beach. Some customers would have wanted sea views but the rooms with sea views are expensive.
